Guys i really need help,i cant fly still this is solved

thanks

Maybe you can be a more specific about what you are doing... where are you applying the mouse wheel?

What airplane is this, and did this work OK before?

it is happening on all airplanes including airbus x,wilco and the defaults, the problem is that when i apply the mouse whell in autopilot or in the controls in the overhead nothing happens.

Thanks

..and do mouse clicks work?

Some aircraft do not support mouse wheel action.

Check the documentation, there is no consistency.. sometimes you have

to left-click on + or - areas, sometimes you have to right-click / left-click.

yes,the mouse clicks works, the aircraft that i use work with wheel because it was working perfectly.

I don't know of any default aircraft that uses the mouse wheel on any controls. Everything is done with the right/left mouse clicks. Can you tell us just one aircraft, preferably a default, exactly what control you were trying to use the mouse wheel so we can check to see if it works on our systems?

Best regards,

Jim

OK, if I understand correctly, it was working with the mouse wheel before - but now, it is not?

Does the mouse wheel work on other things, like the scrollbar on your web browser?

yes,the roll bar works perfectly on web,the problem is not just in the default one,i dont use default i just use it for example.the problem occurs too on wilco evo series 1 and 2 and aerosoft airbus x in any comand that use the roll bar like the overhead and autopilot

THE LEFT CLICK AND RIGHT CLICK WORK

Thanks

On my system, I can use the mouse wheel to dial the radio frequencies

on the default C172.

If that does not work any more, there must be some control setting in FSX

that got hosed... read the FSX / Help / Learning Center / Mouse for suggestions.

when I had this problem there were some issue which causes the problem.

1- the size of the screen but I had 3 screens and with modifying the size, the resolution and bezel, the flickering of the mouse had gone.

2-you could move back and force with the scenery like from 1.0 to 0.9 or 0.8 etc, as soon as the scenery is further away , I could not

use the mouse pointing to the aircraft anymore. I went back to 1.0 problem was solved.

also the cockpit can be moved forward in that way that you can use the mouse pointing. If the cockpit is too far backwards it wont work anymore.

the problem is not with the mouse i already try 3 differents mouses.

any other suggestion ?

So you reset all your controller commands to the default and it still does not work? It has to be a hardware problem then. Plug the mouse into another USB port. Thanks!
