Accu-feel & PMDG

Featured Replies

Im pretty sure I've seen this topic around before, but im going to post this anyway.

Has anyone purchased Accusims Accu-feel and used it with the NGX/MD11/747? I am about ready to purchase it but I would like some feedback from owners of the software, and is it worth it with PMDG products?

regards, Ciaran Andrews.

Accufeel is worth it, no doubt.

The question regarding especially PMDG product is another one.

I thinkg for the older ones in any case, but the NGX has already a very good sound athmosphere.

However I run it also with the NGX and have a slight brake squeeze and tire screech (I know it's not realistic - but all I do behind my PC is not realistic). And it ads a bit more sound for flaps up e.g.

AFAIK Accu-feel have some camera problems with the 747X. You also need to disable the sounds in Accu-feel as the PMDG sound system is much better because they're specific to the aircraft.

Thanks for the feedback, but I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway after I started this topic. All in all I am very impressed by it!

The sounds, bumps, brakes screeching and the overall feel of the aircraft while flying and/or on the ground is great! Did a test flight with the PMDG MD-11 and I prefer it with Accufeel than without. I haven't really tried the NGX but I will try it tomorrow, probably wont see a need for Accufeel as guenseli said the NGX has a very good sound system.

I went ahead and got the A2A Accusim Spitfire as well as Accufeel. An awsome bit of kit and well worth the money. Just with Accufeel and the Accusim Spitfire its like a whole new sim!

Chaps,

This is a little off-topic but regarding purchasing Accufeel... Has anyone ever used it in an enclosed cockpit system where the main outside view is a projector system. Not surround, but purely a flat 90 plus inch diag screen projection about 8 feet in front of the pilot eyes. I undock the outside view, move it to the projector and it creates all outside views.

Forgive me for hijacking the thread. There seem to be some guys very familiar with the add-on here. Any thoughts lads....?
