A little help?

Featured Replies

Hi

I would just like to ask if there were a couple of P3D users who would like to test an ILS approach if possible?

I have tried and still get the aircraft rolling to the left on all approches! The approach is as follows:

FREQ 109.35 CRS 225 Degrees and no matter which ac I try it never follows the localiser?

Any feedback gratefully received :O)

Cheers

This is probably a problem that can be fixed with ADE (Airport Design Editor) as I very much doubt whether the problem is P3D or the aircraft.

Cheers, Mac

Hi thanks for the reply

Tried using ADE and adding ILS etc but kept getting comile bgl errors.

Any scenery designers out there able to assist please ^_^

Russ Bailey

Rusty,

IF you were flying the 737NGX, there is a command in the FMC that has to be changed to "use" FSX data. Only plane I know of in P3D that you have to do that with.

Hi and thx for the reply

Been using the QW Avro (no option as far as I am aware?)

Russ Bailey

Russ,

I tried 23L at EBLG and it was a back course approach! 05R on 109.35 gives the ILS w/glide slope so I then flew it and the autopilot was perfect (QW Avro)

<shrug>

If I get time I'll try editing it.

Thanks,

OK, so I've edited the ILS for 23L to be an ILS/DME/GS, frequency 109.30. 109.35 still works for 05R and the file functions fine in FSX or P3D. If you wanna try it out let me know.

cheers,

Hi Greg

Many thanks for taking the time to help

If you could let me have the file that would be great thank you?

Well right now I'm in Virginia headed to N. Carolina, but usually I hang out (live) in Rockingham, work in Grafton. Do you know VT at all?

I'll get that file to you when I return on Sunday...meant to copy it on a thumb drive but must have forgotten.
