July 8, 200421 yr I have them both. The 2D panel on the 441 is one of the best I have seen and makes for a great IFR/approach practice platform. Everything else about the aircraft is also great. The 421 is well done, but in my opinion it is not nearly as good as the 441.For a piston twin in the 421 size range I much prefer the FSD Navajo.
July 8, 200421 yr As the voice of dissent here, I have to say that after flying the Aeroworx B200, I purchased the 421 and was disappointed. My computer is a 1.6 Gig P4 with a GeForce 2Ti video board...all due to be upgraded this summer...which is significantly lower than the minimum recommended by Aeroworx. Their bird flies just fine, except for the wait time when I call up a subpanel...but the bird is WORTH IT.The F1 421C is, by contrast, not as nice a 2D panel, and offers me lower frame rates and more stuttering. Worse, the DXT3 textures are nowhere near as clear as those on the B200...I can't speak for the 441, and I am otherwise a loyal F1 customer, but I've climbed into the Beech's cockpit and that's where I plan to stay.Yoda Best Regards, Kurt "Yoda" Kalbfleisch Pinner, Middx, UK Beta tester for PMDG J41, NGX, and GFO, Flight1 Super King Air B200, Flight1 Cessna Citation Mustang, Flight1 Cessna 182, Flight1 Cessna 177B, Aeroworx B200

July 9, 200421 yr Author I am a long-time owner of the 421 and have always liked it. I just purchased the 441 tonight and it is a great plane as well. A very fast turboprop. This plane thinks it is actually a business jet! I only had a short time in it, but I think it is going to keep me busy for a long time. A lot of newer models can cause some performance problems, but the performance of the 441 was excellent. I love the panel on the 441 as well. It has a window where you can select the various panel parts and it can be turned on and off. I always like this approach. I would say go with the 441, but obviously I haven't spent a lot of time with it. I also own most other twin prop planes, and I still fly them all, including the 421. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
