July 7, 200421 yr Nobody can answer that for you but you! They are both high quality from a quality team, but they also fall into different "niches" in terms of flying. One's a prop, and one's a tprop--they require different procedures, fly in different roles, etc....I have to say the 421 is probably one of my all time favorites--it was my first payware aircraft and the hum of those engines is great "music" to listen to. But I also have the Conquest...what can I say--it's a fine aircraft too. Also worthy to consider is Eaglesoft's Citation II...but again it falls into yet another niche... All three aircraft would provide an aircraft for almost every role...-John
July 7, 200421 yr thanks a lot for your insight!of the two I mentioned, which is your favorite of the 2? I have the Citation X, Aeroworx b200, F1 Meridian, and F1/DF 310CM, so I have some diversity! Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
July 7, 200421 yr I have both & really like both but I lile the 441 just a little bit better. No reason, I just like those turboprop engines.Pat Callaghan Pat Callaghan Jr. Ryzen 9-9900x Asus Tuf Gaming 870x 64gig DDR5 ram, RTX 4070 Super Win 11 Pro
July 7, 200421 yr Considering what you have, I'd go with the 421 then since it fills a niche between the 310CM and the B200.... -John
July 7, 200421 yr Cessna 441 hands down for me.I'm really into the little details and the 421 is missing the wingtip lights (the light is there but there is no model for the light housing).Besides that, the 441 is a turboprop. :)Persoanlly, I'd say get the 441. July 7, 200421 yr thanks for all the help everyone. i think I will be going with the 421, since I have the b200 which would fill the turbo prop niche.thanks a lot Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
July 8, 200421 yr what about sounds?how do the sounds fair? are the turboprop sounds like that on the B200, or the meridian? what about the 421? Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
July 8, 200421 yr Personally, I like the sound set from the 421 as the turboprops all sound the same to me. From a performance standpoint, the 421 is a slightly older model and will perform with a lower impact on frame rates which always sways the votes its way for me.:>
July 8, 200421 yr Commercial Member >From a performance standpoint, the 421 is a slightly older>model and will perform with a lower impact on frame rates>which always sways the votes its way for me.Actually, that is probably incorrect. The 441 gets very good performance, is much more complex and has much much higher rez gauges and a highly realistic pilot perspective view point. And its FAST.I fly 2 421's in real life and the F1 421 was modeled after one of them... 3968G. My favorite? the 441 hands down.Jim Rhoads
July 8, 200421 yr Don't you work at F1, and it was easy for you to get the 421 modeled after the one you fly?I would like to have both, and in the end, I probably will, but I just got the new B200 TPROP so I don't know if I need it right now! Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
July 8, 200421 yr I've got the Conquest & the B200. Although there's nothing wrong with the 441 I always select the Kingair.LPXO
July 8, 200421 yr Take the plunge and purchase both. Or one now and the other later... Either way you will thank yourself. Because there is hours of enjoyment to be had with both.:) I own both, and never get bored with any of them.Come to think of it, I have so many different quality payware and freeware that there just isn't enough time in the day to enjoy them. I have already cut out sleeping. Perhaps I could cut eating and work!
