What you usually do to cope with stress (work, etc)

Featured Replies

It has always been great to share something useful and inspiring, that makes us keep learning something new. Everyone has devices to help themselves survive, some methods work for others and some don't. So here's what I do to reduce stress at work, life, etc:

1. Bear in mind that I wasn't meant to live forever. The world is an airport, people were born and they will take off. I am now waiting for my next flight, a one way ticket. So why do I have to let myself suffered too much for this temporary life. No matter how big and luxurious the airport is, it is not meant for me... Only a fool who thinks that the airport is a home while he /she forgets that soon or later he/she must leave.

2. Make someone happy is a true happiness and a magic pill for stress/anxiety/deppression

3. Jazz (mostly Count Basie and Stan Getz)

4. FS2004 (Leonardo Maddog is just perfect)

Have a nice weekend, cheers :drinks:

The sun is shining today and barely a cloud in the sky....Life is good.

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

stress relief for me is:

1) Glass of Johnnie Walker

2) Camel cigarette

Applied simultaneously.

Single-handedly destroy entire alien Star Fleets in my single fighter. If not, then I win WW2 with a little help from my team....... I am also a level 60 sorceress, invaluable when a party needs to roam a hostile dungeon and needs formidable magic on their side...... :P

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

I'm lucky in that my my life has been lucky so far with practically no stress, also when my job brings stress, if it does it usually only lasts for a period of less than 10 minutes. The only times I'd get stressed is coming up to an exam or proficiency check, at which stage, to quote the words of Mr. Barney Stinson; "When I get stressed, I stop being stressed and get awesome instead. True story" - Or something like that... :P
