October 21, 201213 yr I think we can a agree though that almost anything beats stock FSX though. Lol. Cool capture! I have never ran across a border that I have noticed before. Weird too seeing as I have a lot of Orbx stuff. William Sequeira
October 21, 201213 yr Autogen does some things well and photo does some things well. Indeed. Most of the BlueSky sections I've tried have been great and of very high quality, and at the price (it's free!) it's easy to try and see what you like and don't. If you do like, donations are, of course, appropriate. In particular, I've found BlueSky to be excellent for arid, sparsely settled areas in the desert SW, and I've used it to to flesh out from SoCal (where I now use Megascenery X SoCal) to Las Vegas (where I also overlay it with the Megascenery X Las Vegas product). The little bit of autogen, lights and night textures the Megascenery photoreal products add to populated areas make them good complements to the BlueSky tiles when you get to cities. Photoreal certainly can be stunning under the right circumstances. I have never ran across a border that I have noticed before. Weird too seeing as I have a lot of Orbx stuff. Orbx is mostly tuned, custom landclass itself, with some photoreal with autogen blended in in some areas, so it tends to transition better, especially if you also have some upgraded landclass elements like GEX, UTX, SceneryTech, etc that you're moving into. The transition is still there and noticeable if you're looking. But yes, the borders from photoreal are going to be very abrupt. Nice comparison shots! Scott
