Landing runway slope

Featured Replies

Hi all

Can someone please tell me where on the FMC do you put this.

I understand fsx does not cater for this.

Many thanks.

Qas

Usually on the second page of the takeoff data. There is a section for runway condition and then the slope.

Slope isn't modeled in fsx so entering it into the CDU is for your own personal realism.

You don't add it into the landing data page.

Well, yeah that's true. I said takeoff data.

You'll note that my post never alluded to you at all. Note the thread title...

Without quotes it's not clear who you're talking to.

The post title is "Landing runway slope."

The first post asks "Can someone please tell me where on the FMC do you put this." [sic]

And I wrote "You don't add it into the landing data page."

If that's unclear...

That in mind, it does explain your answer though, as you told him where to enter it on the takeoff data (not what he was asking), and told him that it's not modeled in FSX (which he mentioned in his original post that he already knew).

I don't think the lack of clarity is on my end...

Ok I just won't post next time and help him.

*******.

No need to be dramatic about it.

My main (albeit somewhat hidden) point was that it seems like a little more time spent in reading what people write could do you well.

Responding to a question by pointing out unrelated information could lead someone in the wrong direction. In this case, reading your response might lead the OP to believe that you enter the landing runway's slope on Page 2 of the TO data page. That info might then be seen by a whole bunch of others reading this or wondering the same, and then it gets repeated...

I do apologize for the slightly underhanded approach to that message, however.

Mall Cop, LOL

Yep. I come with my own Segway and bike helmet, too.
