November 3, 201213 yr CaptainStiggy, Here are a few more links: There is a link in the first entry for this forum topic for a zip file with FDEs for most different 777 versions that work with the Opensky/PSS merge. It takes you to Rapidshare, which I think is an OK download site. I just tried it and it seems OK. I think these will work OK. http://forum.avsim.n...-777-fde-tweak/ Most merger setups have you use the PSS FDE and air file, but this makes all the aircraft fly like a 777-200LR, no matter what they look like. In these merges you need to use the PSS air file or the autothrottle won't work. However, in the above FDEs the author has solved this problem. Here are older Opensky models, but you are probably better off downloading a complete Opensky aircraft and then substituting in the merger FDEs. http://poskyarchive.com/ Here are newer versions of the former Opensky models, now called SSP2012, but they may cause problems with the older textures: http://ssp.cyber-nin...77V2Update.html Do everything in a new folder or something is likely to get overwritten. You need to copy the entire PSS panel into your new aircraft folder, copy some Opensky entries into the VC section of the PSS panel file and some Opensky panel folders into the new panel folder (where the PSS stuff is), to get Opensky animations to work. You can get the PSS gauges to work to some extent in the Opensky VC versions, but it involves editing the gauge names in the VC section of the Opensky panel files, and many switches still will not work. I recommend a no-VC Opensky model. Mike
November 3, 201213 yr Search for "Singapore Virtual PSS POSKY" you should find a good merge that is ready to fly... It's only of the 772LR though... I've been using it quite a bit and I really like it... I'm not sure who's "air" file they are using though... I know I liked the POSKY FDE feel better - but - it's been a while since I've compared them side by side... Regards, Scott
November 4, 201213 yr I made the "Singapore Virtual PSS POSKY" merge . It was for Singapore Virtual, but feel free to take it if you can find it  . It uses a modified air file which was made by my friend, who got flight data from the real aircraft, and tested the aircraft against real world operations. His dad gave him the data from the real 777-200ER when he was flying in real life, and he then modified the air file to match this, and also tested it against real flights to achieve the most realistic 777-200ER he could get. The merge is for the Boeing 777-200ER. Just change the thrust in the "static_thrust=" under the "[TurbineEngineData]" of the aircraft.cfg for the various engines. For the various engines on the 777-200ER, change to the following: PW4090: static_thrust=90000 GE90-94B: static_thrust=93700 RR Trent 895: static_thrust=93400 RR Trent 892: static_thrust=92000 Also change the weights under [weight_and_balance], MTOW are as follows: PW4090: static_thrust=648000 GE90-94B: static_thrust=656000 RR Trent 895: static_thrust=656000 RR Trent 892: static_thrust=656000 Jeez, been away from these forums for agesss lol. Think more than a year haha. Hope this helps :smile2:
