November 2, 201213 yr I usually start in the cockpit, but as I was contemplating getting out after a nice landing.. (had to go to the John..), it occurred to me that it is a long way down... Are there any steps / handholds to get me safely out, and later, back in? Bert
November 2, 201213 yr They are describing the method to be an easy one in the review of the rw plane. http://cafefoundatio...search_aprs.php Just check that pdf for the Legacy. The wing height is low enough that it is not difficult to step up on the wing non-slip strip while still being careful not to step on the flap. Once standing on the wing, it is easy to step into the cockpit because the huge bubble of plexiglass that forms the windshield and canopy swingswell up out of the way on its forward mounted hinges. There is no need for stooping or crawling when entering this cockpit. The alternative would be to scream for help. ^_^
November 2, 201213 yr Author LOL... I guess I need to bring a plastic step stool, like the one I use when replacing the Hummingbird Feeder.. Weighs nothing and can go into the rear compartment, under the netting.. Bert
