Slow unresposive control on final (goofy landing)

Featured Replies

That is a really annyoing thing that has started happening.

Yep, apparently, they are miscalibrated, I recommend recalibrating with FSUIPC if you own it (which I can not but recommend!)

Would that effect create yaws?

I suppose if your rudder itself is not centered, it could make some "funny" things happen.

There is a physical problem, with the rudder peddles, which I have noticed when I tried to calibrate them. Unfortunately the left toe brakes has lost its spring. It is very lose, in comparison to the right. It should spring back into position. This could cause a problem. But if I remember not to take my foot off of them, it should be ok.

Although I don't think this effects the flying abilities, on landing, just braking on the ground. The rudders seem calibrated.

Well I'm embarrassed to say that it was just the sensitivity in the FSX settings which was for some reason completely turned down. I don't remember doing this,

Nice that you have it resolved though!

Hey, you should have received an email from me with all the info for Maddog Shared Cockpit and the Voice Server download and setup info. Shoot me a PM if you didn't receive it.

Changing the subject for a sec...

We've had several new guys start flying with us (OVPA) not only flying various 3rd party aircraft, but all flying the Leonardo Maddog 2010 Professional in shared cockpit on VATSIM. We're hoping to get a 8 to 10 guys up in (4 to 5 aircraft) flying as pilot/copilot in shared cockpit on VATSIM in the near future.

We'll add the Majestic Dash 8 for shared cockpit flights when it's released. But sadly I had been misinformed about the FS Labs A320. They won't be releasing the shared cockpit function for FSX, only P3D. I must confess that I don't understand their decision.

Hope to have you join us online soon!
