November 20, 201213 yr Is this perhaps just a "not properly activated" NGX? I am sure I had something similar last Winter, and Ryan (PMDG) remote accessed my PC and found that the NGX was not properly activated and this some gauges weren't loading. A full uninstall, registry clean and re-install fixed it. I could be way off here - just a thought. November 20, 201213 yr Author Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I checked again and my fsx.cfg file is located at: name/appdata/roaming/microsoft/fsx. Again, the real mystery here is why it is only happening with my PMDG 737NGX?? I might try contacting PMDG directly to see if they can help. I think you're right about the automatic profanity blocker. Contained in the string is a single word often used to describe a female dog... That REALLY had me going for a minute... The fight continues... Jeff
November 20, 201213 yr I have had the same problem with 'skeletonized' textures on aircraft. The problem for me was a corrupted tex.cfg file.
November 21, 201213 yr Sorry, didn't mean to confuse....I am talking about the texture.cfg file found in each Texture folder in each Aircraft folder. Are you having problems with all textures in your 737 NGX or just one specific texture?
November 21, 201213 yr Author Here's a screenshot of my texture.cfg file for one of my 737NGX acft. How does it compare with yours? Thanks for the reply, J
November 21, 201213 yr Mine is virtually the same,with one exception: [fltsim] fallback.1=..\..\pmdg 737-800ngx\texture.vclow fallback.2=..\..\PMDG 737-800NGX\texture.common fallback.3=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture fallback.4=..\..\..\..\texture Regards. DIMITRI
November 21, 201213 yr Well, the Texture.cfg is your problem. Mine looks like this :[fltsim] fallback.1=..\texture.vc fallback.2=..\texture.common fallback.3=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture fallback.4=..\..\..\..\texture And it works
