PMDG 737-800 NGX goes amok in Windows 8

Featured Replies

Hi all, Through bad luck I had to change to Windows 8. Now the 738 NGX goes amok . Will not keep speed in autopilot. Jumps from overspeed into stallspeed within seconds. Have wind smoothing on both in AS2012 as FSUIPC and tried these separate from each other as well. Anybody else had this problem? If so please advise PS. As you see also have a little issue in this format. Will not create next sentence. :( Regards Pieter Veelo

Try flying with static weather.. the fair weather theme with no wind or anything and see if the problem persists..

There are some windows 8 threads around the forums i suggest you try looking trough them for advice.

Win 8 seems to work perfect for some, and at others it's having some problems.

I've been using Win 8 for a long time with no problems, and I'm running a lot of software.

I think the problem people are having with Win 8 is that they are doing an upgrade.

You'll want to do a "clean" install of Win 8 on a formatted drive. Upgrades can be messy.
