November 26, 201213 yr I think I asked this before myself and I'm still interested if there is any chance we could control the transponder via voice in a future update? Would be very nice since I find the transponder quite tricky to set manually in the NGX especially when you're busy flying online.
November 27, 201213 yr Commercial Member You mean enter a transponder value like 4443 or or select TA/RA, etc? TA/RA is already selected by the FO during his runway entry flow. November 27, 201213 yr Yes, that's exactly what I mean...to be able to have the FO set a transponder value by speaking 'Set squawk/transponder xxxx' That is a command a truely miss on every flight and an update I would be willing to pay for :wink:
