Howard, did you resolve the issue of the disappearing display windows (PFD etc) when you switch views?

Also can you tell me which 580 GPU you have?

Your Dell looks like a real beaut! Now there just happens to be one floating around at work somewhere....hmmm...

megs, simply use two cables out the back of the GPU, one for the main monitor and the second for your panels and things. You'll have to go into the display section in Windows and then you can set the two up how you like. You decide which is the main and secondary monitor. You also need to decide where the monitors will be placed so that when you drag anything across from one to the other it does so in the right direction. As for the drop in frames with the Dell, sure, I have a test flight where all the parameters are always the same and when I made the test flight my frames dropped from 28/29 to about 25/26. Of course this will be different on different rigs. As I've heard of some guys frames dropping through the floor.

Hi Tom, the display of the PFD and ND situation I have not resolved but have had second thoughts about things anyway, so no big deal. As for the GPU it's a 1.5Mb version can't remember which brand as all the info is now packed away for our house move on Monday. The driver is the latest 306.97. Hey mate, if you've got one floating around at work, then try and wangle a way to get your hands on it...
