It grows more and more obvious how far civilian flight sims are falling behind the technology curve (especially graphically) in recent years.

Found some decent computer water too. It took a while to calculate though. ^_^

More likely would be something like the fluid dynamics possible using something like Nvidias PhysX. However, whenever I have asked about it, the response has been lukewarm. Many modern games tap into these powerful GPU features, but I am not sure when flight Sims will get there.
