December 5, 201213 yr Frustrated at the wait for the PMDG B777? In preparation for the aircraft, I decided to read about it to try to prepare myself for my first flight. On reading the Boeing 777 systems documentation I realise that, compared to the B744, the biggest difference is in the greatly increased number of EICAS and MFD messages that may be presented. Learning about them has greatly increased my knowledge of the B777 and will help me in getting used to the aircraft. So I challenge you to identify the list of unannunciated checklists as your B777 2013 Christmas Quiz! To help you in this learning task, I should tell you that there are also MFD communications information messages, annunciated checklists, normal checklists and FMC messages. Also note that if your answer is significantly greater than 20, you may not understand the term 'unannunciated' as defined in the manuals. We can compare our findings through this forum. I cannot claim to have the definitive answer yet to this fascinating question. So, if you accept this challenge over Christmas, good luck! December 5, 201213 yr Why not just use the Index of the Unannunciated Checklists of the QRH? ;-) (In our manuals we have 22 Unannunciated Checklists) René Pedersen
December 9, 201213 yr you think it will take another year for it to be out? Michael Pare Extreme Boeing 737NG fanatic
December 9, 201213 yr The thing is no one knows, we can only guess, it will just show up one day, it might be today or 2 years, who knows? I can assure you when it is out, you will be very happy as PMDG wants it as perfect as possible. Michael Pare Extreme Boeing 737NG fanatic
December 10, 201213 yr I think.. Next update on 12-12-2012 Release 21-12-2012 I admire your optimism, but there's probably more chance of the end of the world prophecy being right. PMDG have barely started showing details of the 777. I can't see how one update could cover all that.
