December 7, 201213 yr Author Than you really guys for your help here. I will try all of the above tonight when I get home. I will let you know if I manage, otherwise I am afraid I have to "enrol in a flight school..." stelios. Stelios Christofides
December 7, 201213 yr Author No luck I am having problems in understanding the below: I can't locate the 2 IRS switches and I don't know what the iFly IRS options are. It's OK I will stick with my level D for the moment. You have to set the 2 IRS switches on the overhead to NAV, then set the POS Init coords. You can use either the Last Pos coord Which should be shown on the page. Enter the Reference Airport (The one you are at) then use those coord. Or on the page 2 the GPS Coordinates (These are the most accurate) For your purposes though the Last Pos coordinates should suffice. Note depending how your IFly IRS options are set up it will align immediately up to 10 minutes. If it's the latter and you want to speed things up, you need to change the option. It's in the option menu on the FMC. The IFly manual should show you how and where to change that setting if needed. Stelios Christofides
