August 3, 200421 yr HI Rick,The Chipmunk looks great and brings back memories of a short aerobatics course I did in one at Biggin Hill quite a few years ago. There is no magic setting for spins in FS2004, just a lot of hard work and experimentation. All the related params must be very finely harmonised together.Good Luck.Rob Young - RealAir Simulations Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
August 3, 200421 yr Hi Rob,I'll start by saying that I have brought all of Realairs products, and love them immensly, especially the FD's.Could it be possible that Realair could look at making some flight dynamics for this wonderfull creation?, the package is excellent as is, but with a realair flight dynamics addition it would be the icing on an already sweet cake.CheersDan.
August 3, 200421 yr The Chipmunk is outstanding. This is really the grass roots of flying. I did a flight last night, navigating with only a compass and a sectional chart. It was awesome! :D
August 3, 200421 yr I've got to add my praise here as well. What a fantastic job, and... its freeware! You guys did great! This airplane, as well as the Real Air Scout, have become my "low and slow" favorites. One really gets the feel of flying and trying to get the most from these aircraft. Most of my sim flying is from airports at 5000 feet; getting the planes up and over 10,000 feet to avoid mountains is lots of fun, just as in real world aircraft.Larry S.
August 4, 200421 yr Don't neglect to try out Rick's Gloster Meteor and his Jet Provost. I'm not really a military jet fan but these freeware planes are well worth checking out.
August 4, 200421 yr Wow...just downloaded it. Wonderful. Me being a computer idiot, I can't imagine how someone can be skilled enough to creat stuff like that. Thanks so much. Roger
