Question for Guenseli re.Tutorial VRinsight-Mod

Featured Replies

I just ran across the tutorial in the fsuipc forum and have read it through with interest. My M-Panel used VSPE (licensed 64 bit) although I have forgotten exactly what it was doing. My question now is:

With the availability of LINDA is there any advantage to the VSPE setup? My new Combo -Boeing should arrive soon and it would be nice to know more about the ways to really use the device.

Thanks for any information and any of you other good forum folks are invited to respond as well.

Regards

VSPE was used in th beginning Pete (Dowson) started "connecting" the MCP Combo to FSUIPC.

At a certain point it wasn't needed any more.

But I do not know how it behaves with the M-Panel currently ...

Hope, Andy joins here, he should know it!

Neal was asking about the MCP2 not the Mpanel, the Mpanel isn't supported by LINDA anyway, but to answer the question no VSPE is not needed by Linda if you just want to use the MCP2 on its own. If you still want to use the Mpanel as well just leave things as they are and FSUIPC/VRiSim and the Mpanel should still continue to work with the assistance of VSPE.

Cheers, Andy.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. The M-Panel is a nice little device but I sold it once my (original) MPC Combo was set up.

Btw...Just checked UPS tracking and my NEW MCP Combo II is ON THE TRUCK FOR DELIVERY TODAY!!

The new circuit board for the "old" MCP Combo will ship from Korea next week. Just hope I have the smarts to install it. If it checks out, someone will find a good deal on eBay.
