December 12, 201213 yr John, A couple summer of years ago My family went to Yellowstone and the highlight of the trip for me was taking the ski tram to the top of the mountain across from the airport at KJAC and watching AC land from above... Beautiful area barely describes it.. I would go back and do that again in a second.. Jeff Yep, Jackson Hole is beautiful. I was there for two weeks in '99, implementing some software for a client. I had an afternoon off and went out for a drive with my business partner thru the park. It was a beautiful, crystal clear day with high cirrus clouds. The mountains were breathtaking. Final approach into Jackson Hole airport has to be one of the most beautiful approaches in the world. I used to live in Gardnerville, NV and the scenery is very similar to Jackson Hole--the Sierras rise up from the Carson Valley floor in dramatic fashion. I would lie down in bed and watch the snow come in over the mountains. I post screenshots from that area from time to time too. Lots of great places to explore in the sim, especially with Tileproxy.
