I think he keeps toying with new features he want's to add. I still fly the aircraft and the VC isn't that terrible, atleast on my system. It's much like the panel in the Cadets I used to fly in. Now the Warrior III's panel is an eye-sore, but so are the real ones. :-lol----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. This thread was started last July!!!:(

>This thread was started last July!!!>>:( A year before last July!!!

I know that the Warrior IIIs and the Cadets (Warriors with 4 side windows instead of the 6) had very different handling in the fact that the Cadets at neutral trim were pretty well balanced and the Warrior IIIs at neutral trim are pretty nose heavy.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. I love nothing more than an old thread drug from the archives. :-)

Well, we keep telling people to look in the forums for information first. I guess someone actually took our advice then asked a question. It would help, when people discuss the clarity of this panel over that panel, if they would state what their video card is and what resolution they run at and how much AA they use. I run my system at 1920 x 1200 on my Pentium M 1.7 GHz, 1Gb, 64 MB nVidia 4200 Go Dell D800 laptop, and I have rarely found clarity to be a problem on any plane. I imagine at 1024 x 768, clarity might become an issue. But it is hard to take anyone's comments about clarity seriously without knowing this information.I happen to fly the DF Archer more, but that is because I own a Cherokee Challenger 180, which is closer to the Archer in performance, and because I redid the panel to match my own plane, and just haven't gotten around to editing the other 3 Pipers to match it. I turned off the 2D views, I'm a VC guy, hence, I kinda like the Warrior II better in this regard, but, as I noted, I haven't gotten around to redoing the panel. Finally, it seems I spend more time creating scenery than flying these days. My issue with the Australian Simulation Warrior II panel is not so much to do with clarity as with quality. The panel is not especially well rendered, and the gauges are not especially well integrated. By comparison, the Flight1 Piper Archer II 181 panel is a much better product, despite the fact that it was released several years ago.Maybe my mistake was in expecting Australian Simulation to deliver the same quality as a (much older) Flight1 product.-- WaltFlying FS9.1 at 1600x1200x32Intel Pentium 4 640 HT 3.20GHzWindows XP Pro SP21GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz (2x512M)256MB PCI Express x16 ATI Radeon X850 XT PECatalyst 5.9 drivers for Windows XPDirectX 9.0cViewSonic P95f+ 19 inch Ultrabrite CRT MonitorSound Blaster Audigy2 ZSCreative I-Trigue 2.1 3300 SpeakersSaitek Gamers Keyboard USBMS ForceFeedback 2 joystick USBWideFS 6.50ActiveSky ASV FSUIPC 3.50 RegisteredFS Force 1.02FSNavigator 4.6Active Camera 2004 v2.0LAGO FSEAISmooth V 1.11aJABScreen v2.2Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G 802.11gNETWORKED SYSTEM (Running WideFS Client & ASV):Intel Pentium 4, 2.0 GHzWindows XP Pro SP2512 MB RAM>It would help, when people discuss the clarity of this panel>over that panel, if they would state what their video card is>and what resolution they run at and how much AA they use.
