Great news!!

Today was the first successful flight in about a month, not a single issue!

I think the colprit might have been squawkbox but ill test it tomorrow just to make sure.

Thanks again for everybody who helped!

Many thanks

Jake,

The message you are getting from Squawkbox is more than likely the \squawkbox\code\sbcore\players.cpp error.

If it is then run Squawkbox external to FSX and this error/crash should dissappear. Open it from the start menu/programs folder. Even if it is not the error you are seeing running Squawkbox external to FSX seems to be able to calm it down a bit. All the issues with it seem to be running the module within FSX. I also suggest running it as an administrator. I have seen that cause issues with not seeing other aircraft.

If I turn my volts too low on my gtx690 nvidia card, my gfx driver will crash.

Another "solution" that makes finding the cause(s) of FSX crashes so difficult. Same goes with too high/low CPU and memory voltages. An under-powered power supply until will cause unexplained crashes too.

@ Jake and Chuck - good to hear you might have found the solution to your crashes. I'm not sure about Squawkbox, FSInn, or CoPilot, but they have been around for a long time and some of these programs may lose compatibility with newer OS's until they are upgraded. Thanks for posting your solutions. Hopefully this will help others in similar situations.

Best regards,

Jim
