are you clicking rebuid rc scenery database from within the rc application?

do you have the latest version of makerwys?

Is RC4 on the same pc as FS or are you on a client to an FS Host over WideFS.

If you are on the same machine execute the scenery rebuild from within RC answering No to the prompt about running on WideFS. You then should see makerwys prompt windows including the runway counts and answer OK to all of them including the later ones from RC itself.

If you are a client on WideFS to an FS networked host then first go into your FS folder and run makerwys.exe there. Then start RC on the client, start the scenery rebuild, and answer Yes to the prompt about being on WideFS. In this case makerwys.exe you should have run directly in the FS host and you will not see RC start it but just copy some files and create one file.

In both cases you must correctly enter the full path to your FS folder. Where FS and RC are on the same pc, if your path to your FS folder is incorrect RC will not start makerwys.exe.

I sometimes have the same problem. It is just that you have not typed the correct path.

Use Windows explorer to find Flight simulator on your PC and copy the path it shows exactly, then it will work properly.

Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Z170x Gigabyte m/b. 28" LG HD monitor. Win 10 Home. 500g Samsung 960 as Windows home. 1 Gb Mushkin SSD for P3D. GTX 1080 8gb.

FYI:

I keep the FS full path in a text document linked to my desktop ready to copy\paste in to the dialogs so avoid typos in that long entry.

I just use the Win hot keys after highlighting the text - ctrl-c to copy; ctrl-v to paste.
