December 25, 201213 yr Hi fellow simmers. I come to you with a lil problem I've been having for ages, but none of my friends know what causes it or how to solve it. I turn to you! The problem I'm having is that my clouds tend to twitch when in outside view. They only seem to do so when they are close to the ground. I made a video showcasing the issue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PR7Q8nz_prc&feature=youtu.be Is there any way of fixing it? I am running 8SQ + 2x SGSS on a win7 64 bit with 306.97 drivers on my gtx 690. Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
December 25, 201213 yr The flickering around mountain edges etc is just something you have to accept its a FSX limitation no matter the weather engine. I agree it stinks. Randy Swofford
December 25, 201213 yr Try the following solution. Thanks for the reply but that fix is for a totally different problem (the flashing of cumulus clouds when redrawing the scenery) Like Swofford said, this is one of those things in FSX that you just have to learn to deal with.
