December 31, 201213 yr I just purchase PMDG 737 with my FSX. When I load it the outside view is too low. How can I fixe it permently? Thanks. Al
December 31, 201213 yr What do you mean by this? Can you upload a picture? Do you mean the spot view is to low? You've basically left us high and dry here Al.
December 31, 201213 yr Author When I load my 737 and look outside the front window from the cockpit. I see the ground with the middle line of the runway. In FS9 I just had to push SHift + backspace of SHift+Enter to lower it or bing it up. Al
January 1, 201313 yr May you include a picture? I have included a link that may help with cockpit mobility. http://forum.avsim.net/tutorials/article/70-cockpit-movements-basic/
January 1, 201313 yr Sac do you mean in the 2D cockpit? If so this is a problem with FSX generally. You can fix it by editing the panel.cfg file. The trouble is I have forgotten how to do this because I just use the 3D cockpit. That's probably not much help... J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
January 1, 201313 yr Have you read the introduction manual(page 13) the fix is in there on how to solve your problem, in your fsx.cfg folder change the wideviewaspect from false to true, if you already done this than do a search for 2d views and it will bring you lots of answers to your question I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
January 1, 201313 yr Al, Control - Shift and Q if I remember rightly and Control Q to move the other way. Gerry
January 1, 201313 yr Think his refering to the 2d view since his just mentioned that he just bought it, and most likely hasnt changed his wideviewaspect to true yet as mentioned in the introduction manual in the [DISPLAY] section: Add the following lines (if they are not already present) if you have a wide-screen monitor running a 16:9 or 16:9 resolution: • WideViewAspect=True I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
January 1, 201313 yr Author I could not find the FSX.CFG so I downloaded a little program and I found it and I added TRUE and it worked. Still little too low and when I bring it up with Control - Shift and Q it bring it up correctly but when I look side view and come back front view it goes back to where it was. If anyone has an idea to fixe this permenantly I would appreciate it. Thanks for all your response and Happy New Year all. Al

Al if you would have type 2d views in the search option box on top you would have found your answer by now instead of waiting, didnt take me long to find this for you see if it helps if it doesnt just change some of the numbers to suit you can change panel.cfg: [VIEWS] VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,MINIPANEL VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=5.5, 0.0, 0.0 VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.8 This has to be made in the panel cfg which can be found in fsx folder/simobjects/airplanes/pmdg800ngx/panel folder than its under the cfg icon where you add these numbers I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
