Back to Hawaii for another waterfall hunt. This one should be very interesting.

Enjoy.

Thank you.

This was a fun one Rick. It took me awhile to find that "little" Upper Paauilo airstrip again. I was so low on fuel (2%) that I had to pull my two jerry cans out of the back seat and refuel before takeoff. Great to be back in Hawaii though! I will take a couple local jobs I think.

Happy new Year all

I flew this one from Hilo Intl. It was great to fly along the coast low and slow in the CC. Took me a while to get to the aerocache, and when the marker popped up, it surprised me. It wasn't at all what I expected. Also, if the target area hadn't been as large as it was, I'm sure this would have been one of those land and walk caches. I enjoyed this entire search and collect.

I agree, it's good to have a mix of Hawaii and Alaska caches. Since I usually try to keep the date in Alaska true to life, it gets a little boring will all the white. I have to come to Hawaii for a color fix.

Thank you.

Like Rick, I love to have color, lots of color in my life. So, why not take my newly-painted RV out for a spin?

I call this my "Tropical Carnaval" livery, because the pattern is taken from a Carnaval suit. Yes, we do like color in the Tropics.

And like Steve, I love those little strips North of Hilo, so here is the RV on the dirt ready for take-off.

I took the RV so I could fly inverted, but when I get a chance, I shall try to add an inverted carb to the Cub - that should make it aerobatic!

Aerocache in sight, gear straight up in the air! B)

It's time for someone to do some 'splainin around here

Amen! I bagged it and went elsewhere. Come to think of it, I think the only times I've landed at Upper P is when it sported a destination diamond.
