August 8, 200421 yr Guys, once again I guess I'm beating a dead horse (like I've been beating since the PSS FS2k4 update has been out). I can't get any help with my issues concerning the PSS A320, I can't manually land her. I've written to PSS numerous times about this issue to no avail. So I guess that's ware things are standing as of now, nuff said.... I have everything else in my hanger to be thankful for so I'll leave it at that... August 8, 200421 yr I tend to agree with some of Dillon's comments as well. I have posted several legitimate product questions to the forum that never make it past the moderator which leave me in the dark trying to figure it out on my own.
August 8, 200421 yr The PSS A340 costs GBP 5.00 (6 models)The PSS A330 costs GBP 7.50 (6 models)The PSS A319/320/321 costs GBP 7.50 (6 models)The PMDG 737NG costs USD 29.95 (1 model)The PMDG 737-800/900 costs USD 67,90 (2 models?)Enough said?BTW despite of the low prices, I'm very satisfied with the PSS series, especially with the A330.WolfgangPS this post is not a direct reply to post # 0
August 8, 200421 yr Wolfgang,You forgot the cost of a livery with PSS compared to the cost of a livery with PMDG. Otherwise, I happen to agree with you, PSS is a fine product. The discussion has nothing to do with that at all. The discussion is concerned the lack of an A320 on the market that meets the standard that PMDG has set for systems fidelity. I enjoy flying the A320 by PSS, don't get me wrong.
August 8, 200421 yr Hi Fred why did Dillon submit his post in the first place.I have no trouble landing the PSS busses manualy. Maybe his post was a way to disguise having a go at PSS and 'selling' PMDG. I wondered why you leapt to his defence and then I saw the banner you were waving. Best regards Fred
August 8, 200421 yr Johns,I 'leapt to his defense' because I happen to think is he right about needing an A320 with the systems functionity present in the PMDG 737. If you don't believe me that PMDG is the best plane to measure the competition against, then I suggest you read the AVSIM review on the plane. I don't have the problem with manual landings in FS9 that he does. I don't quite follow your post, especially the part about my banner I am waving? I am actually SUPPORTING PSS, if you read my post. I said there plane is good, I fly it, and I expressed my wish for a more detailed plane which is basically what Dillon did too. What possibly could be wrong with that?Never would I have thought that expressing a wish about needing a plane with more systems functionality would cause this much problem.
August 8, 200421 yr Interesting comments everyone...just remember what PSS is charging for their older aircraft with the July? (Summer) Sale. I wish PMDG could/would have a sale too, I cannot justify the cost with having so many interests and hobbies (video/still photography, flight/railroad simming and model railroading).Btw...How is the PSS Dash8-300 model and cockpit, still interested in buying?Interesting comments everyone...just remember what PSS is charging for their older aircraft with the July?
