Troubleshooting FS9 Crash (New Install)

Featured Replies

Hola,

I have a new system and want to reinstall FS9 with all my addons. Need to grasp how to troubleshoot a crash to desktop that is happening with 2 products from Cloud9.

System is Win7 64bit. FS9 installs runs fine, 9.1 patch installed, Installed Rex FS9 and Ultimate Water Advanced tested runs fine, Active Camera installed (waiting for updated code).

Aviano installed, Rivolto installed tested (start default flight, once in cockpit I change location then aircraft to test).

Cloud9 Phantom installed and tested, runs fine.

Problem starts with Cloud9 F-104 and Frecce Tricolori, both packages install fine but if I go to either aircraft in game I get a Crash to Desktop.

I've excluded the modules folder from my AV product.

What do you think? Any ideas on how to figure out the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps this query should best be directed to FSDT's Cloud 9 technical support, here:

Might be that those aircraft are 32 bit savvy only.

I did ask at that forum aswell, AVSIM is more active.

I think I found the answer, in fact it was staring in the face. They have old installers and new installers, all the old product needs to be installed before the newer addon manager. Files get updated at that point.

Starting over, fresh install..
