If you were to get a AI traffic program, which would you get?

There is also a third option, My Traffic 2004.

And the winner is - UT. My personal opinion of course.

I have UT and I can definetely say it's a great program, every airline imagineable is included and the interface is extremely user friendly. They're a bit slow in updating schedules but it's a lot of work so I'll cut them some slack.I don't know if the other programs offer the scope and sheer amount of airlines as UT so I can't vouch for the othersjust my 2 centsjason

Totally agree.UT!It is an unbelievable amount of airlines included here.I fly in little norway, and i love it.

MyTraffic2004 hands down. More airports, GA and military traffic, etc.

Just to throw this into the mix, why are these programs so popular when the ATC can't control them correctly anyway? Plus, stupid AI plane behavior like the well-known "take forever to get off the active" problem?I've downloaded alot of Project AI and use the excellent GA Traffic program. I like the more immersive atmosphere of hearing realistic calls on ATC and landing and seeing lots of aircraft at the airport. But to me what almost cancels out these benefits are way too many go arounds, terrible separation (or should I say none), and the obvious frame rate hit turning on AI causes. Thanks for any feedback.

There's always Project AI available too, which is freeware, and has a vast number of airlines and GA traffic, Cargo, and now, military. Some folks criticise them for being less fps friendly but having compared against FS Traffic 2002, which was always rated well, I haven't seen any problems. I use the Project AI in FS9 and am very pleased with it, plus there's always some new airline added almost weekly so it's easy to keep upto date.....Also, their models look good, and most textures are well painted so your airports look very impressive!I guess the only downside to it is that it you have to download it all...pretty tedious even with broadband if you try to do it all at once....it would be definitely better on CD; which of course is where Traffic 2004 scores!Value for money though...Project AI would be hard to beat!!
