It is a horrid week, supposed to be around 36 or 37 here tomorrow and in the mid thirties until early next week. Anywhere else but here, not really an issue, but when it comes with 80per cent humidity you can't escape the oppressive heat, even in the shade. The southern states have reached the 40's, no humidity, so everything is a fire hazard.

 

Lots of back burning today, the city is covered in a blanket of acrid smoke, but we hear of the fires down south already, they are doing it tough, memories of 2009 when 173 people lost their lives in the Black Friday fires. Hope for the best.

Absolutely amazing, very lucky to be alive.
