January 9, 201313 yr Yes it's been discussed in the Baron thread: http://forum.avsim.n...n/#entry2567439 Not sure we need another thread for this The thread you refer to above was talking about Carenado's plan to release their FSX Baron for FS9. The purpose of the thread I am replying to here is to advise everyone that Carenado have now released their product and IMHO is a perfectly good reason for creating this new thread. David
January 9, 201313 yr Author ,@wingz Dont spoil the fun for everyone else, not alot of people read through the older threads entirely ok, the purpose of this tread is to Re-inform people that has missed the news that carenado has released the baron 58 for fs9 in case they havent read the OLDER thread entirely. Besides this deserves to have its own thread buddy
January 9, 201313 yr Great plane once again from Carenado. No fps issues and flies nicely. I did notice that the auto-pilot buttons for altitude and VS climb settings are not working well? It tends to reset or skip randomly.
January 9, 201313 yr Author I Had a similar issue with a payware that is now a freeware plane before, i believe it was the Grumman Goose from bill Lyons, only it didn't have anything to do with ALT-VS, it was the actual autopilot switch it would disengage while switching views, i ended up changing the auto pilot gauge with a fix. If i were you i would email Carenado and let them know of your ALT-VS problem im sure they will fix it right away considering its just been release.

Great plane once again from Carenado. No fps issues and flies nicely. I did notice that the auto-pilot buttons for altitude and VS climb settings are not working well? It tends to reset or skip randomly. So far, I have seen normal auto-pilot VS / altitude operation. If you can be more specific "It tends to reset or skip randomly." I will look for it. Or do a short video. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

Unfortunately i haven't had the opportunity to purchase and test this plane just yet,but i can assure yo that i have never had autopilot issues with any of my other Carenado Aircraft's.
January 10, 201313 yr Author I will probably be purchasing the Beech baron next week, if you guys have any thoughts on the baron 58 for fs2004, good or bad please feel free to share them :-)
January 13, 201313 yr I will probably be purchasing the Beech baron next week, if you guys have any thoughts on the baron 58 for fs2004, good or bad please feel free to share them :-) I will pass. No 2d panel and poor customer service from Carenado in the past equals no money from me.
January 13, 201313 yr Ram, How many aircraft have you purchased (FS9/FSX?) from Carenado? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 13, 201313 yr Author I will pass. No 2d panel and poor customer service from Carenado in the past equals no money from me. @Ram1220, I Don't think any of The carenado aircraft's have 2d panels,I have quite a few and to be honest i havent had to contact customer support for any of them so i woulnt be able to comment on there Customer support. But ill be honest with you about a couple things 1.) Once you go Virtual Its difficult to go back to 2D pannel 2.) Carenado aircrafts are amazing, both FS9 and FSX 3.)I have never had any major Performance issues with there products I love there work, I also love there HD Series Aircraft's for FSX I only wish they would start making HD Series Aircraft for FS2004 All in All Carenado planes are fun to fly,i enjoy them very much and im sure many others would agree. If 2d panels is what your after it shoulnt be difficult to put your own 2D Panel its only a Bitmap Im sure you can probably use the Dream fleet Baron 58 2D Panel on the carenado aircraft.
