Hmmm I haven't mess with the Terrain.cfg I may take a look at it, I know one thing though the terrain settings within my FS9.cfg always resets itself to a large number no matter what I do

Hey guys yes I did run the configuration tool And I've also manage to find the patch for misty Fjord to be compatible with ultimate terrain Canada, Running the ultimate terrain Canada misty Fjord patch fixed a lot of the land class problems that I was encountering with misty, After deleting the files that I posted above all my problems with the double shorelines disappeared and also the problem with the cabins floating on the water, I also found out the issue that I was having at the Bahamas as to where I was having also buildings floating on top of the water, But that was an entirely different situation has nothing to do with Misty or ultimate terrain Canada. After days of research and configuring I finally got everything to look perfectly fine, There are only 2 minor issues that I'm currently having, And they are 1. When running tongass configurator I tried to select Freight dogs which I also have installed in my simulation After applying it it says that he can't find the path to the scenery airport directory of the Freaight dogs when I hit browse to set the path it's already there,the scenery seems to be working just fine I'm not sure why the configuration tool for tongass does not except it 2. And also when I installed the little port walter scenery the elevation of the terrain is not correct , I enter the values as instructed to do so inside the read me. Txt but when done it raises the terrain with water so I just deleted the house and put a beach house in place of it. Other then that everything else seems to be ok

Ok I found the problem, Seems like the problem was the misty fjords landscape interfering with Tongass scenery, Every time I disabled the misty Fjords land class The problem goes away every time I enable it the problem is back. So I did a little research and I found a solution I'm not sure as to why its interfering but the problems that interfering has to do with 4 files in the misty Fjords Land class folder. I deleted the files then Re- enabled the Misty landClass and Eureca problem solved and everything is working well. The files are O_U_T HP912120.bgl O_U_T HP913120.bgl O_U_T HL913120.bgl O_U_T HL912120.bgl If it renamed these BGL,S why is it interfering?

Ok what so you mean by scenery Priority issue? By that I'm guessing your referring to the sequence as to how I activated my scenery within FS9 or could the problem also originate from the scenery CFG?

Hey guys I was wondering if maybe there was an easier way to fix this problem that I am having, I have tried uninstalling it ultimate train I have tried uninstalling misty and tongass and then just reinstalling misty and and Tongass Without Ultimate Terrain Canada I am also seeing this problem somewhere in the Bahamas as to where I get buildings on water I have installed the misty patch HitFix a lot of problems but I'm still getting this specific problem. This is OP1 camp from Avsim it's said it's fully compatible with UT, Misty, and Tongass so I'm not certain of what may be causing the problem. Any ideas?

Ok firstly try rebuilding the FS9.CFG see if that helps like Luis mentioned above, second check your clouds settings make sure there not set to high. Another thing you may want to consider is defrag the hard drive, but mainly clouds ate the main FPS killers especially if the Super AA is enabled within the ATI catalyst settings. Also make sure to set the FPS to about 30-35 within FS9 Make sure your not running other programs in the backround and make sure aero feature I disabled within windows 7 I'm running fs9 on an intel core 2 duo E7500, ATI 6750 1gb DDR and I get about 40 FPS over addon scenery but mainly keep my FPS at about 32 so I get a steady 32 FPS it only drops when I flyvthroughvthick clouds with Super AA enabled but still holds up pretty well

Yes I have Glacier Bay, Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords and Ultimate Alaska/Canada I've also downloaded the Misty, UT patch. And yes you are correct I may be searching for the wrong program, I would like to add some land undearneath the floating cabins that are not compatible with The above mentioned addons... Some are fictional and some utilizes my LAGO FSE enhancer. Anyone out there have a solution for this?

Hey guys I'm looking for a utility that would allow me to add land in certain areas of Flight Simulator 2004 For example I have been downloading certain cabin areas for the Alaska area and some of them are showing up on top of water I would like a program Thats will allow me to add land underneath the cabins instead of them floating on water do to the incompatibility of ultimate Terrain USA Canada and Alaska With these specific addons. I'm actually at the moment looking into something called easy land class but find it rather difficult to use if anyone has any good tutorials for this that would be great

Thanks for the info guy's, I do have the AA disabled within the game, and I have Super AA enabled Irgun my simulator alibg withe 4x AA the game plays well when the clouds are in simple mode and the graphics are great but when the clouds are set to detailed mode with set to 20 percent it's a bit stuttery when getting into the heavier clouds. When the super AA is disabled the performance is great even with the clouds set to higher settings, but the shimmering effect takes effect with or without AA enabled within the game. I'm guessing that's just the ATI drivers and windows 7 64bit. I'm using Pablo Diaz hd clods 512x512

Okay here goes, I have been dealing with clouds performance on my computer for a while now, It does not matter what resolution what format or what type of clouds I use When I am in super AA mode via catalyst controller settings My frames per second drops when clouds are on 3d mode, I get 16 to 18 frames per second when clouds are up at 20 percent or 10 percent on 3D When I disable super AA mode in the catalyst controller I can set the clouds to whatever I want and I get really good frames per second But then the shimmering starts, Almost as if having the AA settings in full screen mode is not kicking in. Bottom line, Super AA - AA in game settings = great looks but bad cloud performance when set to detail and 3d mode. AA- Super AA = great performance (No FPS drop) but horrible shimmering I know setting the Mip bar within the game will help reduce the shimmering but makes the game look to blurry from far away. If only I can get the clouds to work as they do with the Super AA mode enabled that would work extremely well. Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue? My system specs Intel Core 2 duo E7500 8GB DDR2 800 ATI Radeon HD 6750 1GB Ram

I to have GEP But switched to FSCENE for some reason i get lower FPS on GEP but every computer is different. GEP also gives you the ability to change the texture colors according to seasons as well. Definitly offers more then FSCENE for a cheaper bargain but as i said its pretty heavy on my FPS and im running an intel core 2duo E7500 my machine has 8GB DDR2 ram and i have a 6750 Rad-eon HD series with 1gb video memory.... not sure why my FPS drops with GEP FSCENE Also has some pretty good snow textures Hopefully you can see them well it was dark as i was flying an event with USA FLight VA It was King Air Fly in

FSCENE Is well worth the purchase i have it on my sim and its very FPS friendly and the textures are great. I dont know if i personally would pay that much for it but i know its a great product.

Hey Guys, I just encountered a Problem with FS2004, I installed 2 Airports (BlUe Print Simulations KSDF) Payware and another Airport i forget witch one it was and neither are showing up 2nd one was Freeware. Ive added the scenery the same exact way ive been adding servery for the past couple of years and never encountered this problem, funny thing is i cant add scenery period as i tried yet another airport today and it also refuses to show up. All Entries are in the Scenery.CFG And all Entries were Activated Via Settings, Scenery option within FS9 will post some screen shots soon, Any ideas? The last thing i did was Install EZ-Scenery from Abacus before the problem occured could that be affecting it? I also remember encountering a similar issue before i forget how i fixed it but i know for sure it was a dll file in the Modules directory i just cant remember the name

In case anyone runs into the mentioned problem above i just found the solution, The problem was the entry data in the Scenery CFG it was set like so [Area.189] Title=FreightDogs landscape Tongass Local=Aerosoft\Freight Dogs\FreightDogs landscape Tongass\scenery Remote= Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=146 [Area.192] Title=FreightDogs landscape Misty Local=Aerosoft\Freight Dogs\FreightDogs landscape Misty\scenery Remote= Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=147 I simply changed 192 to 190 and problem solved :rolleyes:

Hey guys im getting the hang of FS-Cargo love the addon but im having a problem Firstly 1. I go into the VistaMare menu Selection within FS9 2.Then i select FSCargo 3. Then i select get new Assignment 4. I then select Generate until i see a departure selection for the airport im currently in (In this case Entrance Island Lake 2Z1) And an arrival or Destination to (CBM5 Telegraph Creek) 5. I then select Accept 6.) Once im done i see a pop up with the FSCargo Load and assignment window and the cargo to load in the scenery The problem occurs when the window disapears, when it does i 1.) Select VistaMare once again from the FS9 menu Here is whats displayed under the selection menu A. Abort Assignment B. Stop FSCargo C. Assinment History D. Toggle window on and off E. List Areas I then Select on Toggle window on/off to get the FSCargo Loading and Assinment window back up, Once the window Opens i get Area not selected? So i then went into the List areas Selection under FScargo menu to see if the destination airport is there, and it is, has anyone encounter this problem before? Pictures below

@Dillion,(WOW) I must say Tongass Fjords,Freight Dogs,Misty Fjords all together is awesome i want to thank you first of all for providing me with this link, second @ematheson,KiwiFlyer45 and scianoir, i want to thank you guys also for informing me about freight dogs, i love it Tongass Fjords,Misty Fjordsn, Glacier Bay scenery combination with fs-cargo it is really really great

Navtec is correct you will need to use Fraps but if you have an iPhone you can replay the recorded FS data as traffic and record it with an iPhone like I do, sure you will have to hold the iPhone up in front of the screen but it works lol. After that you will need to upload the recorded video to YouTube then once uploaded to YouTube copy paste the link into the post here and the video will show up on your post

One more thing, on the picture below I had a similar problem to that, it ended up being my water effect bar under display settings, make sure your water effect bar is all the way up.
