January 18, 201313 yr Was wondering if any one can point me to some good Alaska Adventure Package for FS2004 Planes im planning to Use 1.)Grumman Goose 2.)CUB 3.) Float Planes (Beaver's, Cessna's Goose ect ect) 4.)Bush Planes The only Alaska Adventure package available that I know of for FS2004 is by Flysimware but I did not buy this as it does not look great from the screenshots and although it is relatively cheap, it does not look as if you get much for your money. In general therefore, there is very little option other than inventing your own adventures for FS2004 in the Alaska area. I love flying in Alaska and have set up FS2004 with the available payware and freeware. The payware. Which i use includes the 2 Georender Alaska Cinematic products areas which, although quite old now, still provide very good quality scenery for 2 regions of this huge state, in the areas of Anchorage and Kenai. FSAddon also produce excellent payware scenery with Misty Fjords and Tongass Fjords (for the Ketchkan and Sitka regions) and their freeware Glacier Bay scenery, although much, though not all, of the bush flying in these areas is by floatplane. Aerosoft produce excellent scenery for Anchorage Airport which also includes Lake Hood, a major float and land plane base for bush flying and this also blends in very well with the Georender scenery for this area. Likewise they produce an excellent rendition of Fairbanks Airport, also a big bush flying base. In addition to these I use UT Canada/Alaska to enhance the scenery in the rest of Alaska not covered by the above. In addition to the payware scenery there are a large number of freeware addons available for Alaska, many here on Avsim, although a comprehensive list of available freeware for Alaska is available on the freewarescenery.com website, which I find is a very good resource to search for specific scenery anywhere in the world. I assume you already have the aircraft you mention - if not the Aerosoft Beaver and Super Cub are excellent, as are the Real Air Scout, the Carenado Cessna 185 and the Digital Aviation Do27 (if you want something even more challenging!). But, as you probably already know, there are a lot of payware and freeware bush planes available and amongst the latter I particularly like the Maule and also the Helio H295. Hope these ideas help, Bill
January 18, 201313 yr I don't have it but I believe that "Freight Dogs" (Aerosoft??) is a complete program that includes adventures, some really excellent looking Alaskan scenery and a scaled down version of their Beaver and Beech 18. I can't tell you more than you can read in the product description but it might be what you are looking for Cheers Ian
January 18, 201313 yr I have Tongass, Misty, and Glacier Bay sceneries installed from FSAdd-on. There's a site called Misty Moorings where you could get a large amount of Cabins for the area. From there I've installed FSCargo to fly cargo runs to these various cabins from Ketchikan Alaska. I use Caranado's Cessna 185F for most of my cargo runs although I do have other bush planes. Surprisingly this is a complete experience in Alaska. With a detailed KSEA and PANC flying to the area and doing some bush runs while there is quite fun. January 18, 201313 yr You really should get the Freight Dogs package from Aerosoft. That is a wonderful package, simply wonderful, and well worth the money. it was my first payware addon, and it is still one of my favorites. It is one of the first things I install when I have to reinstall fs. It includes 1) a cut down version of FSCargo, 2) the Tundra and Amphibian versions of Aerosofts Beaver (two liveries each), 3) the Cargo version of Aerosofts Beehc 18 (in two liveries), 4) six beautiful bush strips in the Misty/Tongass fjords of Alaska by Bill Womack, 5) some high quality terrain with custom textures to accompany the airports by Holger Sandmann, and 6) some scenarios to accompany the rest. I have since bought the full versions of all of these, but I still prefer the Freight Dogs versions of some things... (such as the Beech 18 and Misty Fjords terrain) over the full versions. The airports included are the best versions of those airports in any sim. So, it is a bargain at the price. Then you should follow it up with just about everything FSAddon has published.

Misty Moorings has the file that contains the locations of the cabin's that FS Cargo needs in order for the program to find them.
