I'm having a weird problem. Every time a load the MD11 whether from the Main Screen or already on the ramp, FSX crash throwing an error quite unique cause where should say the name of the module causing problems it says unknown.

I detected FS2Crew might be the problem becasue if a restore the PMDG panels from the FS2Crew program, the MD11 load just fine.

 

Let me tell you that recently did a full re-install of SO and FSX and been flying other PMDG with FS2crew without a problem, the only difference that they are al Voice edition.

 

Do you know what could be causing troubles with FS2Crew?

I know it should, I've been using it since forever. Just with the last re-install it won't work.

I already tried re-installing with no luck.

I will keep investigating, but I feel is something that is in conflict with the gauges and my system.

It's a needle in a haystack sometimes finding the causes of these types of issues.

I'm just wanted to let you know that the problem is solved, and I wanted let everyone know what I did to solve it,

 

First and most important: I don't know what cause it and I don't know if what I did solve it or I just got lucky.

 

Basically what I did was:

1- Delete all entries except the default ones from the DLL.xml file. (Backup first) Here you should let the PMDG entries to be able to load the MD11.

2- Delete all entries except the default ones from the EXE.xml file. (Backup first)

3- Delete the FSX.cfg and let FSX rebuilt it.

4- Finally I start add entry by entry starting with FSX.cfg file and then the other two, and loading the airplane for every time i saved the files.

I can't explain that one -FSX sometimes "works in mysterious ways"- but the important thing is you're up and running.
