I have generated an PMDG Flight plan using SimRoutes and Route Finder (put it in the correct PMDG Route directory) and went into CO RTE and it shows there, but when I activate it, the dotted pink line never changes to solid.

Are you sure it's pink? If it's dotted and dashed pink (magenta, as it called in FCOM), then it's lateral offset.

I don't think it's your case. Have you pressed activate on RTE page and executed the activation?

It's dotted magenta and yes I have activate it in the RTE page.

Sound strange, but then open INIT REF, choose INDEX, go to OFFSET page and check that all fields are dashed.

Are you receiving any EICAS or FMC messages? Could we please have some screen shots of your FMC and ND?

Make sure your runway number is entered on the first route page. I always forget that.
