OK so I recently noticed this while flying. There seems to be almost a 'box' folling my aircraft where ever I fly. Inside the box the textures look different then the rest of the world. Especially the water. I noticed this because the water almost looks GREEN sometimes. Has anyone got any idea what is going on?

I see it all the time in top-down view. It's probably where the textures change from higher resolution to lower when you're in a 3D view. Do a flight near the poles to see the box get squashed from the sides.

However, I am convinced I have a problem. In the spot view, only at a certain distance above ground I get very bad conflicting textures.

The screenshot in your first post looks normal, that is how FS works.

 

I am not sure what I am seeing in the last shot, can you post a larger version here and not use that photo sharing site?

 

It kinda looks like you are overworking your GPU.

I am not sure what you mean by 'post a larger version here'. I tried to upload a file containing several pictures in sequence but its too large. (28 MB .rar but only 1.5 MB allowed) Is there somewhere else I can upload this?
