6700K and 1080 is the best setup for P3D right now.

SLI will probably have marginally faster performance, but it comes with it's own issues. A 980Ti is very close in performance to a 1080 so I wouldn't suggest an upgrade (unless of course money is no issue, but then why would you ask). My advice? Save your money for the big Pascal chips (1080Ti/pascal titan) with HBM2 coming in early 2017.

Stick with the 4790K. It is a brilliant CPU and you aren't likely to see any improvements going with Broadwell E (which will be an expensive upgrade). Quad core processors with fast IPC and high overclocks rule in P3D. You have one of the best processors for P3D available right now.

I had a somewhat similar issue. For me the AP disconnects randomly and the aircraft enters a steep right bank without the ailerons moving at all. I will stop using it and see if I encounter it again.

I second the opinion that something is very wrong with your cooling. Remove and reinstall the 212 Hyper Evo along with replacing the thermal paste. There is no way you should be getting temps that high on 4.1GHz.

The Dash 8. It is one of the BEST addons which exists for FSX/P3D. This isn't even a debate. The RJ is still a fun airplane which isn't modeled too deeply and should be much easier to learn to fly however.

There was recently a post about this which was removed. In summary, do not expect a SP2 and none has been announced so far. Most likely we will see a complete rebuild on the NGX than a SP2. The NGX is from 2011 if I remember correctly, PMDG won't want to touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Yea but he's trying to push 3 times as many pixels as you. I agree something seems to be off. OP have you tried running just one screen to see how the performance changes? Maybe your 770 is bottlenecking a multi monitor setup.

While the Aerosoft is good, the FSLabs should be up to PMDG level. It is supposed to be in Beta already, however I'm pretty sure that they said it will be released for FSX first, and then P3D so it might still be a ways away.

480,000lbs is nothing, you should be rocketing to the sky. What altitude does the plane stop climbing? Are you sure that the AP isn't on with ALT HOLD?

The PMDG 777 is much better but is priced more aggressively. Worth it though.

Wow this is really good news! It would be very nice to see 64-bit P3Dv3. The improvements from V1 to V2 were amazing, so hopefully V3 continues this trend of awesomeness. Lockheed Martin have done an amazing job transforming the sim. Gentlemen, we may be coming the the golden ages of flight simulator. Virtual reality headsets are coming to the market soon and have already shown they can be great for simulators, 64-bit Prepar3d means not having to deal with another OOM ever, and PMDG starting to develop aircraft for X-Plane. Exiting times are ahead.

Hey, I'm continuing to have issues with the NGX. Soon after reaching cruise, the autopilot starts behaving weird. Here it is starts making an uncommanded right turn until the plane stalls. If was absolutely fine a minute ago, and out of nowhere the plane becomes uncontrollable. I'm flying the T7 with no problems, only the NGX has this problem. Perhaps a reinstall is in order?

Don, Most hardware comes with a 1 year coverage, whether you buy it from Jetline or from the manufacturer directly. Secondly, your add-ons come with support from the software developers. I'm not sure why you would choose Jetline to help you with say a PMDG activation issue. Finally, why would you call just to chat? If you need friends, there are free (or cheaper) alternatives.
