  1. Just what can be expected. P3D products with non-entertainment licenses will cost more than their FSX counterparts. Will these licenses have more features? Its great to see PMDG supporting a new platform which is still being supported by its developer, even if some of us might not be able to afford PMDG P3D products. Seeing as the Professional version of P3D is $200, I wouldn't be surprised to see the 747v2 P3D training version cost upwards of $250. Ivo Dimitrov
  2. After nearly a decade, I don't think anyone can blame the naysayers....just saying. -_-
  3. Perhaps OP is confusing indicated airspeed with true airspeed. I certainly don't think the airbus will hit 470kn indicated.
  4. http://www.zauartcc.org/forum/index.php?topic=3160.0 These should be the updated files. I see no where to download so I registered to the forum and maybe then you can download it. I am currently "waiting on admin's decision".
  5. I think Kuragiman is referencing AF447 ( the one that descended into the ocean) and another AF296 which crashed into a hill after an airshow low altitude flyover. I have been a fan of the series since the first season and have seen all the episodes. Absolutely the most amazing show ever and I hope it keeps going for many years. There is a new season coming sometime in 2014. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mayday_episodes
  6. They should change their name to Level D Simula... What? We all know they don't finish sh1t.
  7. When will they just admit that it isn't coming?
  8. This. Would love to hear his opinion on that bird since everyone is saying its a lot more detailed than the Carenado.
  9. Don't worry! Level D are working on a 757. The anticipated release is scheduled sometime in the next decade. Sorry couldn't resist
  10. Agreed. Paul has helped me numerous times with DX10 issues. Thank you Paul.
  11. Try closer to eight years. I think they announced it around 05/06 so its definitely been over 5 years.
  12. I take it you believe in the tooth fairy and santa clause also?
  13. American used to fly some 777's ORD-DFW and back a couple of years ago. Its around 2 hours flight time. Im not sure if they still have any 777's operating that route.
  14. It would be nice if PMDG include the 747-400ER in V2.
  15. My guess is that since they aren't as popular IRL, most developers want to make planes which are popular and don't think the time needed to program the differences is worth it. How many 744ER's were delivered? Not too many (Qantas is the only airline off the top of my head). The MD-11 has an ER version which also didn't sell my planes. While the 739 is only built in the ER variant nowadays, this maybe wasn't so while PMDG were developing it. (I think ifly has the 739ER) EDIT: After a quick check, it looks like the last -900 was delivered in 2005 so Im not sure why PMDG chose the regular variant instead of the ER. Perhaps the -900 was easier to model then the -900ER because of less differneces to the -800 model. Just my $0.02 I dont own it but I thought Captain Sim modeled the 763ER, maybe I was wrong? LevelD have modeled the 763ER and I belive it to be superior to the CS version (in FD and systems modeling, but not in visual quality)
  16. Cooper, sorry bud, didnt mean to ingore you. Matter of fact, I completely mis-interpreted what you posted. I didn't realize that you could set a separate resolutions for DX9 and DX10 each. I thought that one 'master' resolution would control both. I thought I had already done what you were suggesting (I had in DX9). Mark just explained it very detailed for me to understand. So your post went completely over my head at first until I went back to re-read the whole thread. Thanks to the both of you.
  17. Indeed my DX10 resolution was set to a different value than my DX9 resolution. Fixed it up and the problem is gone. Thank you Mark.
  18. Hi guys, I moved my FSX.cfg to a different folder to let FSX recreate a new one. The old one was full of tweaks, wannabe tweaks, and all kinds of other stuff so I wanted to start fresh. When I'm loading a flight in DX-10 mode, the loading bar comes up off center (almost top left corner of my screen). Then the main panel is zoomed in awfully close. If I cycle the views, it goes back to normal. This doesn't happen in DX9 and didn't happen in DX10 in my old cfg file. I have set WideViewAspect=True. Am I missing something obvious? Are there any cfg entries required to make the DX-10 fix run normal? Thanks :drinks: Ivo
  19. Happy birthday Rob! Best wishes and may you have many more birthdays in the future! -Ivo
  20. Very sad news becasuse I really wanted to get this but I run DX10 only so I'll have to hold off until the fix is available. Slightly dissapointed right now as I was really looking forward to getting FTXG.
  21. What is the difference between the new vnav and the old vnav? I hate Rob mention in one of the videos that the NGX used the "new vnav" and the 777 will use the "old vnav". Google didn't turn anything up. Ivo
  22. slightly off topic.. but I just found out the JV and I share a birthdate :Nail Biting:
