I have a question regarding the upcoming 747 v.2 in terms of the 747-8.

 

I've read that the 747-8 will come as an expansion for the 747 v.2. What does it mean? Will it have a special flight model or will it just be a visual extension? I think the 747-8 differs from the 4 in perfomance data.

Yep,

 

It's a completely designed product, with custom VC flight dynamics and visual model. Very different from the 'external model' and 'sound' expansion of the old -8 add on

Cannot wait for this one either, or the DC-6, man this going to be one of the best years that FS fans have seen in a long, long time...

 

I agree with RSR that the 747-400 is my favourite aircraft and to have one on NGX standards would be fantastic. I would also love to get my hands on the 747-8i.

Another one might be the Dreamlifter? But I still do like the look of the -8. Though if your not a fan of freighters and don't like flying within Frankfurt you probably won't like the 748.
