January 23, 201313 yr I normally land manually, but today i decided to do a few autolands for variety. I'm descending with autopilot A engaged, and I have my Nav radios and course settings in sync for the pilot and FO. When I request "Select Command B", the FO says "Command A" and turns it off. I then need to manually engage both autopilots myself. This is a very minor issue for me, but I thought I'd look into it to see if it's come up before. Thanks for any replies. Curt Branch
January 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member Hi Curt, Please check the Green Bar to ensure that Command "B" and not "A: is actually heard. I just checked the Code, and "Select Command B" should definitely work. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
January 23, 201313 yr Author I just tried a few commands with the green bar active. Two of the three times it accepted my command b; the other time it deactivated the A autopilot, and the green bar registered command a, not b. Maybe it's a matter of me being more articulate when saying B, I'm not sure. If it continues, I can always fire my FO with someone new from Emergency NGX, lol! Curt Branch
January 24, 201313 yr Commercial Member Hi Curt, Just make sure you say "B" clearly. The system obviously heard an "A" in that instance. Maybe try running the voice training one more time. Best, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
