Ultra high PC Specs, low fps

Youre right. There are always people screaming that they have 60fps. Everybody can have that, i guess i would get around 80 when i fly without addons. What is the difference between 30 and 60? Because of umon body limitations we cannot see the difference...

Autogen for me is one of the biggest killers, with it pretty much turned off completely i get 30fps constant always with 50% AI and flying with the PMDG NGX/AS Extended etc and i am on a 5-6 year old system (I've always preferred performance and playability over looks). I've never had an OOM ever since i moved over from FS9 in October last year.

The best way to get FSX stable and running smoothly is to make sure your on a 64bit OS and then apply the memfix and other basic tweaks then set everything else to absolutely nothing and go up from there until you have an acceptable level of realism.

Turning down Autogen and Traffic ,will produce such better results, your FPS will double, and you will experience less CTD, and no OOM errors. It's really a miracle what

Turning your Sliders down can do!

What does actually the Autogen setting decide, is it "buildings and bridges", what do you loose / gain when sliding up and down Autogen?

Ok, thanks Word Not Allowed, currently I have all sliders on half on my old rig. No AI, and I get good fluidity and immersion, even with UK2000 apts.

Waiting to see about Haswell before I decide what will be the base of my new "FSX only"-rig
