Where do I put FSUIPC key for Aerodesign's Marciano panel to unlock it.

Featured Replies

I am getting the "can't load a320.gau" problem. Where do I put the key that is provided by the Aerodesign A318 team? Do I open the FSUIPC drop down menu and there is a place? Thanks, Christopher

me tootried reading the a320 panel guide, but can't make sense of what they are saying..it says register the a320.gau.file....BUT where?? i tried looking in Fsuipc(i have registered version) but there is nowhere to put in the key...very strange..glad i'm not alone i was beginning to feel a bit thick. steve:+ :+ :+

I don't know if this will help you or not since I have the unregistered version of PSUIPC, I just clicked on modules and then FSUIPC and then click on the about tab, on the right side bottom there is a box where you can click to register an application program. Once you click that you will be given the ability to enter the gauge name and registration number. That is all there is to it. Hopefully it is the same for your registered version. i have a registered version of Fsuipc.unfortunately it is different from your version,as it doesn't have the extra box at the bottom.evidently you shouldn't have to register the A320.gau if you have a full version of Fsuipc...starting to wonder why it has to be so awkward to use a freeware panel with a freeware aircraft!! best wishes steve

Try this one; VSB54OK5UVWNhttp://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...der=asc&start=0In FS, open the FSUIPC configy bit, select 'Register an Application Program' and another window will open. In program name put 'A320.gau' and paste the key above into the other boxes.Click OK and restart FS.Or If you can't see the appropriate button, In your modules folder, open FSUIPC.key and change it in wordpad so that it looks like this,(making sure you maintain any other entries that are already in there)-------------------------{Programs}A320.gau=VSB54OK5UVWN{User}Name=Address=-------------------------**Replace the { & } with square brackets.

I figured it out.Make sure you have FSsound.dll in modules folder. There is a patch with this file on the Aerodesign forum website. If FSUIPC is registered already, than you don't need to cut and paste the code anywhere, they were just having problems and issued the patch. HOWEVER, now that everything is working fine from that standpoint, I get the author details on the mfd, and malfunction readings. I have used his panels many times before, with no problem, these things go away after about a second after startup. How do you get them to go away now?CB

Same problem here! I have the registered FSUIPC, but when I load the A318 I get the same malfunction message and the panel is useless. I have used Eric's panel on IFDG stuff, but now it won't work with Aerodesigns. Hopefully someone will jump in here and clear up the mystery. Thanks!Airbus

Same problem here - first freeware airliner I have installed for ages (only fly payware GA normally) so would like a fix soon or it's going to be consigned to my recycle bin.

sadly Im having similar problems but getting a CTD after selecting the A318 in the aircraft menu, pity, was looking forward to flying it.....Tim10 miles east of LPFR

Can someone please tell me how to get the default ATC to recognize frontier Airlines? I love the plane but all ATC will say is "flight xxxx". They never transmit "Frontier xxxx". It appears that the entries in the aircraft.cfg are correct. Is there something special I must do to get ATC to recognize Frontier Airlines? Thanks. Bob

Strangely, I have the registered fsuipc and everything seemed to work ok after installation without me doing anything. (Assumed that I am seeing everything that I am supposed to be seeing.) Frankly, I am not terribly impressed in comparrison if you have the PSS panel.RTH

Please let me retract my "impressed in comparrison" statement above. As usual I confess, I spoke before all the senior brain cells were in gear. For a freeware offering, this is a pretty impressive piece of work once one takes a peek at everything in detail, including at least a partially functioning FMC.Thanks Aerodesign/Marciano and forgive my ungrateful reply.RTH
