AMD x8core 3.6ghz FX-8150

Saphire HD 7850

16gb of ram

windows 64 bit

600w psu

Thanks Steve, your post gave me a good chuckle! BTW, you need to post your REX order number to be able to post about other's REX order number..... Forum rules..... <---Priceless!

mcrum3,

You have not provided enough detailed information for anyone to help you. How about posting the contents of your fsx.cfg or give us an idea of your slider settings?

Regards,

Bob

I dont even no where to find that order number. I have an out of the box .cfg file. I have not messed with it yet. my sliders are all about mid settings. Global textures are full, i think I turned the cloud level slider down to about mid way.

silly me,i'd just come from REX forum . saw the post about REX and had a Brain dead moment.

If you look up Word Not Allowed's Guide to Fsx that will sort you out.

your computer specs are good enough to get much better results.

I agree, you should try Word Not Allowed's guide first. Here's another link to another excellent guide - http://www.simforums.com/forums/topic29041.html. If you are still having issues after using these guides, let us know.

Best regards,

Jim
