So which one is it true or false?

If you use a single window spanned across three monitors its wideaspectview=true

If you run three undocked windows on top of that single view set you widen your FOV without running into stretching the edges, its wideaspectview=false.

For your current setup, its TRUE. Get that one running to your liking firstl. If you want to experiment later I'll send you a .flt file you can start with that's set for 150 FOV.

Super Bowl over - back to FS.

John- I also haven't flown with a cockpit view for years. I use Project Magenta PFD/ND, etc panel views on separate computer-LCD's behind insturment panels.

There will be a frame rate penalty displaying any complex cockpit on a 6000 X 1080 screen especially in high density scenery areas or cloudy weather. The loss is related directly to the power and capability of your pc.
