ATC - No Response

Featured Replies

Ive found more than a few times when using the FSX ATC, that when I go to request nearest airports or some other command, there are no options available. Sometimes it says there are no messages for me or some such useless statement.

Any thoughts on why and is there a quick fix within the flight without having to start over?

Thank goodness for Radar Contact, etc but sometimes a guy just want to use the built in lazy version.

I haven't used it for a while but think this happens when you go off course or don't respond to a controller after a while they will cancel your flight plan. The way to fix it is to load your IFR flight plan and select no when asked if you want to go to the start.

Best regards,

Jim

I get this situation on a clean start, FSX reboot even. Ive chosen to fly VFR for instance and when I check out the closest airport to contact, I get nothing to look at, no response except for an empty ATC box with no options to do anything.

I had that happen once. It eventually corrected itself. The joys of random FSX errors.
