Scenery problem, no one answers in that forum

Featured Replies

Thought I d post this here. I have a big problem with the coastlines around Vancouver, all the way down to Snohomish almost and up towards Squamish in BC. Extends east pretty far also. Anyone know what could cause this? I have some stuff installed and disabled all but default, still have this. I did replace some bgls in the scenery world file but they relate to Holger Sandmann's work and his sceneries work fine. Scratching my head on this one, any help appreciated. Here is a screen of the coast, Vancouver downtown is lower left.http://www.x-plane.org/users/hornit/cyvr.jpgHornit

Here's my guess - if I win, please send all prize money to the American Diabetes Association ;)You're missing a shorelines bgl. All you've got there is landclass. Perhaps when installing or uninstalling holgers scenery you picked an incorrect file?

He's missing the shoreline and the water mask -- HP andHL. Try to reinstall the default ones, or look and seeif they were replaced in Holger's files and you subsequentlyset them inactive.scott s..

The instructions for Holger's WA scenery tell you to deactivate (move out from the folder) some default scenery files. His scenery is supposed to replace those but if you deactivate his scenery you need to reinstall your default scenery files instead.
