Have just added the CH Throttle quad to my CH Peddals & yoke,was trying to decide on a set up,I often fly the in house 747/737/ A320 & 172 like to fly approaches from app plates,have MSX,should I make it aircraft specific?,have FSUIPC4,do I need download the Ch Controller?

Any ideas would be appreciated

No Ch Controller not needed just use fsx controller assignments or fsiupc

If you google Sim Samurai and fsuipc guide you should find how to set up quad in fsuipc.
