Reading thru the captains responses I see where he should say "check" at certain points. When I say "check" the green line always reads "checked". Is this OK , or do I have to try and train the word "check".

It depends. Certain responses can accept "check" and "checked".

 

Please run the simulation to try first hand.

Yes, the two sound so close that the speech recognition has a hard time telling the difference. I spent some time last training speech recognition and got it better but still not perfect. I tried giving "check" a really hard "K" sound at the end and "checked" a hard "T" sound and that has worked best so far.

I find I need to say "chuck". However, they are synonymous and either will be recognized.
