March 3, 201313 yr Hot summer in the southern hemisphere, it's sometimes fun to jump over the equator and see what it looks like in colder climes. This is a silly flight: stage length is barely 200km, but I wanted to see Gyor-Per in the winter, and see if the Phenom could be used into a tiny strip like Pipishegy. Well it certainly looked cold, performance was pretty sprightly perhaps because of it Interestingly, the little jet stopped quite well on something I would think twice about landing say, a Baron. I'd have been too embarrassed to fly the 5 minutes into Budapest with this, so switched to rotary wing and went in the back door...
